Heights
This province totally is a mountainous area
along the Zagros that is starting from northwest
to southwest. The highest part of the province
is in Zardkoohe Bakhtiary to the height of
4300 meters and the lowest zone is situated
in East of the province. The heights of province
are always snow covered. The role of these
heights is to evacuate the humid flows. Because
these heights are perpendicular to west humid
flows, autumn and winter rains are mostly
icy and snow form. These flows are usually
Mediterranean which evacuate its moisture
in central zone. |
|
Latitude
Chaharmahal va Bakhtiary is not so spreading.
So this is not so effective in variation of
climate. But it will effects on atmosphere
factors like the Sunshine hours and the sun
radiation along the north to South direction.
|
|
Vegetation
This is related to the climate of the zone,
which effects on the zone vegetation. Because
of raining in the province with different
amount, various kinds of plants in the west, and
jungle plants have been appeared which is
referred to climate diversity of the region.
|
|
Water
sources
The existence of water sources helps the weather
being temperate. The flow of water in the
area is divided into two parts. One of them
goes to Karoon and the other goes to Zayandehrood.
There more than 200 rivers in the province.
They effect on other water sources. Also the
region climate and condition is affected.
Various plants covering naturally and man
made, also effect on the climate.
